Our Love Story Meant to Be
It all started in Las Vegas ten years ago when Thomas and Gisele crossed paths on what was supposed to be just another night out. Sparks flew instantly, and in true rom-com fashion, they ditched their dates to be with each other. Life took them in different directions for a while, but fate had other plans. Years later, they reconnected, and that initial spark turned into a full-blown bonfire. Now, with endless adventures ahead, they can’t wait to start this next chapter together—officially, forever.
The Scenic (and Slightly Chaotic) Route to "I Do"
Seven years ago, Gisele packed up her life in sunny Los Angeles and moved to the Bay Area to be with Thomas—who, let’s just say, takes his sweet time when it comes to love. It took a bit of convincing (and possibly a few spreadsheets), but eventually, Thomas warmed up to the idea that Gisele might actually be the one.
Fast forward to one wine-fueled day in Napa, where a tipsy adventure led us to the biggest impulse buy of our lives: Chowder, our beloved pup. We scored him at 50% off—yes, the literal clearance section—and he’s been the center of our universe ever since.
In a bold move, we relocated to Corvallis, Oregon so Gisele could pursue her PhD in Chemistry. For Thomas, it was more of a strategic play—think: long-term investment meets early retirement vibes. It was here, surrounded by forests, flannel, and far fewer people, that Thomas finally had the revelation: “Wait… I think I want to spend forever with this woman.” So naturally, he proposed at the iconic Haystack Rock.
We’re now living in Salt Lake City while Gisele continues her PhD at the University of Utah (graduating in 2026—let’s gooo!). It’s been a journey filled with moves, milestones, and more than a few questionable decisions—but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
